| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of room in the large lot this morning. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The crossing was a bit high. We couldn't find a way across with keeping dry feet so we just walked through. About shin deep in spots. Crossing can be avoided by taking the fire road approach about a mile down the road from the trailhead. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A couple small step-over blowdowns. Lots of active erosion. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
| Bugs: |
Pretty bad in the parking lot and on the summit. Luckily we had a light breeze that kept them mostly at bay. |

| Comments: |
Trails were damp to start and dried throughout the morning. Lots of wet ledge but the rock is good and grippy so no slipping. Nice views from the summit as the cloud deck was high enough to give us views to the taller surrounding peaks. |
