Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The Class VI portion of Tarlton Rd. is in the best shape I've ever seen after being improved for a recent timber harvest. Any vehicle can easily reach the newly-expanded parking area with just a little bit of careful driving.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There are many trees down on Mill Sluice Foot Trail between Tarlton Rd. and the second footbridge. The short spur to the old mill site is not blazed and is obscure, but does have some flagging. I'm hoping this will be improved?

Comments
Comments: Made a quick stop at Epsom Town Forest after an appointment in Deerfield to grab a little guidebook data. I didn't go beyond the mill spur so I can't vouch for trail conditions past that point. Up to there everything was dry.

The best news of the day is the improved access to the trailhead and the enlarged parking area. So much easier to get in here now.
