| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There are two trail blockers, one at about .4 that is basically all spruce branches, UT there is already a herd path around it. The other one is up on the steep section near the slab, that one is pretty big, but a hand saw should still be fine. I flicker and cleared a lot of sticks, people just walk right by them. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Shay has no trouble here, slab a dabba doo. |
|
| Bugs: |
Mosquitoes down low, nothing much up in the spruce, it was kind of cool for black flies. |

| Comments: |
Me and Shay grabbed our third ascent of both summits, always a fun climb. Did an out and back this time, didn't feel like a road walk. Trails are in great shape, well blazed and cairned. Great day in Nash Stream forest 37/52 for round 3. Be back for Sugarloaf soon. |
