| Water Crossing Notes: |
River is only slightly high but some of the stepping stones require stepping into the river. But nobody is going away from this with dry feet anyway so don't worry about it. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
What a mess. Downed trees hither and yon. Some require crawling over. Some under. Some just grab onto you as you attempt to walk by |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Met one all white pooch with muddy feet. She did not look enthusiastic. |
|
| Bugs: |
Black flies in the afternoon but not bad, really. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
I found a hiking pole on the Iso Express.i think it had been there awhile. |

| Comments: |
I'd like to petition to change the name of the mountain to Mt Laceration. Slippery rocks and hostile spruce trees abound.
I didn't try the Engine Hill bushwhack. Taking the Express did not save any time. |
