Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Low water, no issues on Ammo.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple of blow downs on Ammo but easily passed. The washout on Ammo is in need of an 'official reroute'. There are two log bridges on Ammo, one with three sound logs, the other with only one. No problem now with no water obviously.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Didn't see one dog on the trails, but plenty on top of Washington.
Bugs
Bugs: nothing today, too windy.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A few candy rappers which must have been too heavy to haul out but I managed to be a trail mom and cleaned up after the kids.

Comments
Comments: Cold, west wind (50 mph) on top, so had to reroute my trip and avoid descending Crawford path from Washington to Monroe. Went down Tuck to the junction and then across the Crossover to the Hut. Sat there for a while to warm up and enjoyed leftover pancakes and syrup which helped me get up Monroe. Ammo was a bit slippery in places but nothing serious. All of the crossings were fine. Near the summit of Washington, I watched a glider trying to tac back and forth into that strong wind but was making no headway. Must have been very cold way up there with no heat.
