Comments
Comments: Yikes….. I’m not going to recommend the rockslide. I did go up it, halfway up I realized this may not have been a good idea. Rock’s very loose…. Very unpredictable. Right before the major chute, I took a right and reached the ledges that way. I was nervous of the loose rocks. Views are incredible from the main ledges. Amazing. My plan was to go back down the rockslide but no way. So I bushwhacked summit. Gaia had me at summit on app and it felt like the highest point but I didn’t see any canister. Is there one? Or has it been removed? Then I took a parallel route of the AT and shot for the AZ trail. Not bad of a bushwack… a lot of birch glades…. A lot safer than going down the slide. Phew!
