There are cut log bridges over two of the water crossings on 19 Mile Brook Trail (think balance beam) and one actual wooden bridge. |

|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Only saw two dogs with one couple heading up 19 Mile Brook Trail. They seemed happy enough. |
|
| Bugs: |
Maybe due to cool temps and ample wind, minimal issue with flying insects. None at all along Carter-Moriah as it was quite breezy. We used bug spray for Imp and 19 Mile Brook to ward off any hungry mosquitoes but surprisingly few around. |

| Comments: |
Route: from Great Gulf trailhead we did a short walk along Rt. 16 then cut through Camp Dodge and took a short wooded trail to Imp Trail to North Carter to Carter-Moriah for Middle Carter, South Carter, Mt. Hight, and Carter Dome summits, then 19 Mile Brook down to Rt. 16. We did the .1 in/out to the hut just because. Could not have asked for a better weather day. Views on Mt. Hight were amazing on such a clear day. Absolutely no need for spikes. A few small mounds of snow left which you can easily avoid. |
