| Comments: |
We took Ken M's advice and took the long way to Bald Knob and Mount Crosby. For the first 3 miles the trail winds through the woods with no steep sections. There are steep pitches at the summit of both peaks though. On the way up we saw a trail sign for Hardy Rd. On the way back we took Old North Groton Rd and found the other end of the trail and took it back to Bald Knob Trail. It is not on either the Cockermouth Forest , Hebron Town Forest or Caltopo maps. We only saw one group of 6 hikers all day. |
