Comments
Comments: Lowes path to King Ravine easy to follow. After passing Short line the trail becomes fun. The Subway was a quick 15 minute of over and under boulders. No issues finding our way but we stayed at each marking until we found the next one. Crossed one section of snow that will be gone in a few days. Ran back down King Ravine to get our backpacks. Then hiked up Great Gully Trail. Was surprisingly dry on the lower part and the few times we crossed the waterfall we did not have any issues. It is a steep and narrow hike. Shrubs were the hight of our faces and it was hard to continuously push them out of the way while we climbed up. We each found a tick on us. My first time finding a tick high on the peaks. After thunderstorm junction we summit Mt Adams. Headed down to Gulfside to connect to King Ravine. We choice King Ravine to hike the entire trail, otherwise I would suggest going down a different path. Make note - No sign for King Ravine. We passed it and went a few yards down Airline before I realized we missed King Ravine We hiked back up and found the trail. Hiking down King Ravine wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. I actually had fun. Lots of big boulders and easy to lower yourself with your arms. It was a sunny gorgeous day though and I would not advise going down if foggy or raining.
