Trail Maintenance Notes: A few minor blowdowns on Valley Way.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My dog did great. The rocks on Adams are definitely tough. I continued to check his paws/apply Mushers Secret. This hike is definitely not for most dogs, he required a small boost in some spots as well. There are some spots to drink water on Airline, but for the most part there is no water until you get to the hut, so pack extra.
Bugs
Bugs: Above treeline, the wind took care of them. I noticed the bulk of the black flies heading down Valley Way.

Comments
Comments: Trail is in great condition. Adams via Airline is just as tough as advertised! A perfect day on the higher summits. Saw most people at the Madison Springs Hut. Headed up Madison for mine (and my dog's) #48!
