Just a few streams which were all easy rock hoppers. |

My little dog (16 lbs) had no trouble with this hike. Just a few slab scrambles. |

| Bugs: |
Black flies were pretty swarmy but I had permethrin treated pants, shirt, and hat which I think helped a lot. I found two bites afterwards, but they might have happened beforehand. |

| Comments: |
Trail is in great shape. Long steady climb. Some sections of rock staircases and roots, but a lot of it is packed dirt trail. View over on bald peak is worth checking out. |
