Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Summer like conditions. Easy rock hopping.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail was in great shape. Any blowdowns look like they've recently been taken care of old school style with an axe.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Brought my dog with me. Saw two others at the summit. Pretty easy trail for a dog.
Bugs
Bugs: Some gnats at the summit when the breeze died down but all in all not bad. Get an early start when it's cool to avoid most of them

Comments
Comments: Got an early start. Was on the trail before 6:00 a.m.. three other cars at the trailhead. I'm assuming they were from the night before as I cleaned out a lot of the spider webs on the way up the trail. Surprisingly easy 10 mile round trip for a 4K footer. This factory hike to someone concerned about longer mileages up in the whites while getting a 4K footer as well. Only downside was a group of kind of loud backpackers at the summit. I get it you're on top of a mountain but just take a picture and relax. Don't worry about your social media posts. Other than that a great morning.
