Comments
Comments: Ski trails were fairly dry with a few minor muddy areas (weaved up the access road, since the slopes have tall grass and weeds). Access road from the top of the ski area to the communications tower had some mud pits.

Bushwhack to the highpoint is a relatively narrow stand of woods at this point, as the older clearcut is overgrown with thick saplings and the opposite side (adjacent to the wind farm) was logged in the past year or so and is therefore filled with slash.

Had to hop onto another ski slope on the descent, as I encountered a mother and cub bear; bear cub climbed a tree, so mother bear stood guard on the access road.

Sunny afternoon with temperatures in the 80s.
