| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking was easy, no one else there at 8am on Friday. When we returned to the car around 4, there were maybe 6 cars and still plenty of open spots. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Water crossings were very mild and pleasant, small trout hanging out in the brooks |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Well cleared trail, very nicely maintained |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Unfortunately saw no dogs, they might have struggled with the last climb before the summit |
| Bugs: |
Very buggy on the way up and at the top. Few bites with spray, but anytime we stopped we were surrounded. Less of an issue on the way back down, which was a relief |
| Lost and Found: |
found a pair of gray sunglasses at the summit |

| Comments: |
This was an incredible hike, highly recommend. We saw woodpeckers, white throated sparrows, warblers, toads, pink lady slippers, snakes, and so many different mushrooms. It was a fast hike for the 10 miles, and only really got steep at the very end. The views were insane, and I would gladly do this hike again. |
