Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: So from starting my track from the parking lot: .3 tree across need a good hand saw or an ax. Then at 1.4 miles just some loppers for a downed new trail that is too fresh to bend or break to get out of the way. Need new steps on ladders!!! So many look like they will break and too many missing in my opinion.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Yes
Bugs
Bugs: Saw more bugs on the way down than up.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost nothing, found nothing.

Comments
Comments: Well I was planning on going to Jefferson and decided due to it raining, might as well just get Willey out of the way. It did not rain before, during, or after the hike which was nice!! Thankful for the new waterbars down low as this trail up has been pretty bad over the years. Sadly the erosion up higher is so bad. I am unsure what should be done, but it is just sad the way these trails have fallen apart over thr years. If the amount of work was put in to the whole trail and not just the first .5-1 mile would be awesome! I got some views shockingly and then made my way slowly down due to all the exposed roots and sliding rocks I was stepping on.
