About a dozen cars when I left at 11:30. Haystack Rd. in good shape. |

Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Significant |

Feeder stream a rock hop with wet boots. |

Firewardens Trail has it's many usual step-overs, other than that all trails are in good condition. |

I took the old herdpath, however, it has all the earmarks of a re-route, especially with the "Class A" pair of steps. I didn't see any trail arrow on the other side at the first crossing. If it is an official re-route, it's about time. For you military vets, we used to always say 10% never get the word. Maybe I haven't been up to date. I didn't see anyone on my leg of the hike today. |
