Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the camps on Lamm's Trail. Road was drivable for any car, even my low clearance car. It seems that high clearance vehicles could drive further down Lamm's trail to reduce the hiking distance to the peaks.

Comments
Comments: Headed up Lamm's trail for a bit before taking alternate logging / ATV trails most of route to Savage. Basically, used old roads up to the steepest portion of the climb, then whacked through mostly open woods; one short tight section at higher elevation. Once on the ridge walked in the open mossy forest to the summit register. Returned following footsteps to an old road before jumping into the open forest heading up towards E Spruce.

Signed in and headed towards Spruce, bypassing the minor sub-peak between the summits by staying northwest of high point. A sign on a tree above the register of the Spruce summit labeled Spruce as S(south) Spruce. Peakbagger labels this peak as Spruce; it's a bit confusing. The peak has a new register, thanks to ZPCRCC for replacing; we did not locate the old register on the ground around summit.

Intended returning along similar old logging roads, but decided to cut off some distance by bushwhacking WNW to an ATV road that intersects Lamm's trail. Would not recommend this route off this peak. Woods were not always open; instead they were quite tight and steep at times.
