Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: At the Fundy Cove boat launch at the end of Fundy Rd. in Nottingham. The road has been graded in the last month or so and is in terrific shape. (My $0.02: The state should gate this road in winter and mud season to prevent damage.)

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Due to breaking my silky saw blade I had to make do with a smaller backup saw today. Cleared a few small blowdowns. Some larger stuff remains on the ground that will need a chainsaw. I trimmed them for easier passage. About 3/4 of the way in is a big messy hemlock that I started trimming. Gonna take a while for this one. Not sure if the trunk will need a chainsaw or not. One end is hung up in another tree and I want to see how much I can drop it. I'll keep working on it.

Comments
Comments: Oak Trail at Pawtuckaway State Park.

Ridiculous humidity today. Like very unhealthy for those of us with some breathing issues. On and off showers during the morning led to a steadier rain around midday.

Since this trail dead ends at the park boundary and doesn't see much use I saw no one, as expected.
