| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The Mahoosuc Trail bog bridges crossing the Success summit alpine bogs need fixing. Some of the bridges are fine. Sometimes the board is still there hidden under the mud, so gutsy careful stepping works. Other times it's not clear whether anything will hold you and keep you from sinking into the mud/peat. People are walking on the plants. |

| Comments: |
We went to see the flowers, and they did not disappoint. Cotton grass blowing in the wind. Labrador tea and bog laurel in bloom, among several others.
Lots of lady slippers and blue-bead lilies along the AT section, starflowers and bunchberry. |
