plenty of spaces on a summer Sunday, although there were cars parked along the road when I returned. |

summertime low water made for easy crossings. |

The trail between the two summits could use cutting back. |

One massive doggo just out there hiking like the rest of us. |

| Bugs: |
some hornets and smaller bees at the South summit but they didn't bother me. Lots of black flies and some deer flies, everywhere. |

I went up North and down South, which seems marginally preferable given the amounts of loose stone on each trail. Regardless, care must be taken, as the stretch with talus is like hiking on marbles. Really enjoyable hike otherwise, and I think the Hancocks have been undersold - there were pretty good views to be had. The hike in/out is just lovely. |
