Comments
Comments: terrific short afternoon hike. If we didn't know the way, though, I'm not sure it'd be super obvious. The first right turn off class 6 road (Pike Hill Road) has a small cairn - from there you turn onto a grassy road - grass getting pretty tall. Other sections had not super-obvious footbed. Outstanding views from the ledges right across other side of summit (across from this trail). I always get turned around at summit but this time caught myself and didn't go too far down the side path. Terrific views on tippy-toes of the Franconia Notch area as well as Squam Lake (I think).
