| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Wild River Road is closed, gated, washed out badly. Still bikeable but loose sand and gravel. I biked in and camped near Black Angel junction. Plenty of parking in lot off 113. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
All were rock hops, boots stayed dry. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Moriah Brook Trail had one short section in the middle that was hard to follow, getting overgrown, looks like a reroute from flooding erosion. A few large step over trees down in this area. Highwater trail between Shelburne and Moriah Brook is mostly gone, washed away, had to bushwhack. The section between Black Angel and MB was ok, a couple large trees down though. |

(Day 2 of an overnight, I camped south of WR campground). Moriah Brook was the highlight of the trip! The whole Wild River is wonderful, but Moriah Brook felt even more remote and beautiful. It was a little too cool out for swimming, but the water looked very inviting. A nice stroll on the ridge, then a quick descent down Shelburne trail, nothing much to say here, it was smooth and gradual, a few sticks to trip on, but I ran most of it. Had a tough time getting back to where I left my camp gear though, Highwater trail has been obliterated between Shelburne and Moriah Brook. You could easily hop across the Wild River if needed, or wade, it was very low. |
