Comments
Comments: The parking lot is decent sized (i.e., space for ~30+ cars). Bathroom at the trailhead, $5 to park. Went clockwise as recommended. The first part of the trail is a ~2.6 mile dirt road to the base with a river running along side it in quite a few spots. As has been described the north slope ascent gets very steep and rock slides. The slides are where the views are. The hikes from north to middle to south is fairly easy. The hike down the south slide I found a bit tedious (i.e., had to be mindful of each step to avoid slipping). Was more buggy on the south side (i.e., I had applied bug spray at the start of the hike and again at the south summit). Soaked my legs in the river ~ 0.5 miles from the trailhead on the way back (felt great).
