Great little hike. Forest service road was an easy walk. A couple of minor muddy spots and grassy spots. After 1/2 mile there is an obvious right hand turn on unnamed trail which is super easy to follow. Little brushy in spots but overall in good shape. Rock scrambles near summit are fun and the views are amazing. Near 360 degree views at summit. Visibility was amazing. Could clearly see Camels hump & Mansfield in Vermont. Stayed at summit for awhile. Black flies were hungry. Sun hoody & hat helped. Hike was truly a hidden gem. |
