Comments
Comments: 1st time on Lost Pond Trail, really nice. Pond was beautiful with Washinton in the background. 1st time to E, wasn't as bad as I expected, but still a long unrelenting climb. Great views from the ledges, nice breeze. Scramble near the top was fun, sat here for a bit. Nice spot for water & food. Only 1 on D, cold in the shade of the lift. Quicker over to A than I remember, solo here. Trail was dry & the muddy spots were mostly dry. Steep down to notch. Thought about Carter Dome but was past the time I wanted to be heading up. I lingered longer than I thought enjoying the summit views. 19MB has some water on trail & the usual muddy areas. Great day to be out, not many seen today. Bike ride back to Pinkham was quick, although the hills sucked.
