Comments
Comments: Expected morning showers, however, I lucked out. Cloudy skies with mild temps. Every once in while, I would catch a breeze. More breeze would have been better to keep the buggers at bay. I took the access road up (aka Polecat trail). Some crews out today working on the road and at the lift station. Lots of erosion to deal with. They're dumping rocks on the road, which makes the footing tricky. Better to stay in the grass, when you can. Only saw two other hikers today. One south bound thru hiker and a trail runner. All in all a good day.
