| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of parking, but get there early since it is a shared parking lot with some four thousand footers. People had jammed their cars into the tiniest spots by the time I got back to my car, and someone was waiting around in the hopes of a spot opening. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All water crossings were bridged, step overs, or one very minor rock hop. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One section of the Lawrence trail between the Cabin Trail junction and the summit has some erosion going on that could become problematic after a few more winters. It is already pretty narrow, and some erosion is exposing a pretty large rock on the Northern side. |

| Bugs: |
Minimal issues with bugs. Just the occasional mosquitos. |

| Comments: |
Great hike for a 52 With a View peak. The trail has a low sloping grade throughout most of it, which made it relatively easy. The Kelley trail follows a brook for about 1.75 miles, then the trail follows a ravine that is likely a stream during melting season. Parts of the trail are like gravel paths. No real blowdowns or other issues to speak of. When you get to the Paugus summit sign, make sure you turn south to find the ledges. Look for four large boulders, then go past them to get to the views. |
