| Bugs: |
There is what appears to be a nest of bees, possibly ground hornets, approximately 15 vertical feet below the summit on Gorge Brook Trail. They where docile this morning until the sun came up, then the amount of buzzing emulated that of a drone. They where fine on the summit proper due to wind. I am writing this trip report solely if someone may potentially have an allergy to be aware of their existence. I wouldn't change up my plans but just be mindful. |

| Comments: |
A FINE morning to be outside - and beat the heat on my local mountain. Sunrise put on a show this morning (June 18). Trails are incredibly dry, rocks where beginning to weep with the humidity on the way out, but really nothing that, on our journey through, was bad. PR lowered, woohoo! The purpose of this report is the bug note, see above. |
