Saw one intrepid German Shepherd who made it over the Caps. I hope she was ok the rest of the way. |

Oh, were there bugs. I used a head net almost the whole way up, and then down once I got to The Link junction. |

Aside from a little mud and puddling at the start, this was the driest I have ever seen a White Mountain trail. Really hot today and the wind was barely noticeable until close to the summit. So there were PLENTY of buzzing bugs. I had a headnet almost the whole way, and saw only one other person wearing one. There were a good number of people on Jefferson today, and that one dog I am still kind of surprised by. No rain despite early clouds. |
