Parked on the grass in the Tripoli Road lot, no issues, about 6 cars. Don't be 'that guy' and park sideways behind cars and make them do a 48 point turn to get out |

No issues for us humans on the few early on. Bella needed a lift with her suitcase harness |

This is to supplement my May 18th or 19th report, the over two dozen blowdowns from the Tripoli Rd side have been removed - thank you to whoever did that, that was a lot of work. Especially that LARGE yellow birch down low. There are still a few blowdowns along the 2.7 mile trek, though there are only about a handful. This trail could benefit from a 'high-and-tight' haircut in some sections as well, as I know VOT48 maintain this trail now. |

Bella did great! Thanks to BK for acting as a buffer. I have a not friendly/reactive (and deaf) old dog. All dog owners either pulled over or leashed theirs and let us pass. Though she did have to go into air jail once.. ha. Thank you all for understanding |

A FINE with the B's - Bella and BK. He still had the west coast lungs so he was rocketing up like a mad man, all six pounds of Bella in hot pursuit. Kind of hard to say no to a redline finisher that purposely selects a trail. We had great footing and "Knights Who Say Niiiiii" fog which added a lot of character to the boreal forest. Not a lot out, unsurprising with yesterdays weather. Got rained on the last mile or so but the canopy largely kept us dry. Main reason for this post was to update trail maintainers of significant work performed in the last month by a masked saw wielding trail angel. |
