Water Crossing Notes: Not an issue.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: I did this hike from the Jackson side. Trail was probably in the best shape that I've ever seen it. Still has it's share of step-overs. The large white birch sit-on and straddle over which has been there for awhile, has been removed, Thanks, that one was a real pain.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: The 2 1/4 mile road walk, before hitting the woods trail, had lots of those pesky buggers. Believe it or not, once in the woods, no bugs all the way to the summit. On the way back, I had to put on my head net for the last mile.

Comments
Comments: Nice hike from this side of the mountain, as usual. Gradual footing with soft foot bed. Only steeps are the last .3 mile on the Eastman Mt. Trail. I had the trail to myself today, however, there was one other vehicle in the lot when I finished at 12:30. Might have gone to the Bald Faces and I missed them.
