Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Easy rock hops, despite significant rain over previous days.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are generally in good shape. On Cedar Brook and the way up the loop trail to the split, there are a few blowdown logs, no branches, which are for the most part easily straddle-overs, and one white birch easy enough duck under. The trail between peaks could do with some brushing at the sides.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: There were two, both leashed and well-behaved, enjoying the outing.
Bugs
Bugs: None in the walk in, as it was cooler then. By the time we got to the south peak, things were warmer, and some bugs were noticeable, mainly of the nuisance type. These were annoying on the trip down to the trail split and on the long walk out.

Comments
Comments: I had thought that there would be a fair amount of water at the crossings, so I brought my water shoes along. I didn't need them, as the crossings were fairly easy.
