Great day hiking to Mt Moriah on the Carter/Moriah trail! Views were fantastic. Got a late start (11:30) but found parking on the street close to the trailhead. Trail in in great shape. Lots of slabs but they were dry and very grippy, so no problem. Garmin clocked us at 9.5 miles and total of six hours (including lunch and a stop at Mt Surprise. |
