Aside from the existing temporary and unclear (to me) signage, the Big Island Loop Trail at Pawtuckaway State Park is otherwise ready for business. This lightly-used woods walk makes a 1.4-mi. loop over the viewless "south summit" of Big Island.
A co-worker and I started a very short relocation around a wet/muddy area last week and I finished it up today. It parallels the original route on drier ground around the muck and still works with the existing blazes. |
