 | Comments: |
Joined the crowds of hikers getting it done today before oncoming storms. Ledges were slippery from last nights' rain especially upon descent - two of the four of us had bum touches coming off of Piper - but manageable with careful placement. We enjoyed the view albeit a cloudy one from Gunstock's Panorama Pub deck (now a mountain biking location) before the Alpine Church crowd arrived for 10 am services. With the lift and ziplines running on weekends, the restrooms at the summit were open too. Cottony-clouds at Belknap but the sun perked up by the time we arrived at Piper. Always such a great trek. |
