Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Seven of us started from the Greeley Ponds junction up to East Peak and up to Mt. Osceola. There are not any waterbars to clean. We cut back a few overhangs [for winter hikers] and some stepovers. Our main task was to cut back all encroaching vegetation in the trail corridor but little had to be done this year probably due to our prior efforts in the previous year.

Comments
Comments: It was now sunny, breezey, warm and bug free. The perfect start to a fantastic day while hiking steeply up the trail -- cutting, lopping, sawing and cutting encroaching vegetation, fallen trees and over hanging pine limbs. We were rewarded with stupendous infinite views to other peaks, puffy billowy clouds and a million shades of green in the valley below. And no bugs! Hooray!
