Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The bushwhack bypasses several stream crossings. There was only 1 notable stream crossing which was easily rock-hopped. The Pemigewasset River (representative of stream levels) is close to annual minimum https://nwis.waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/uv?cb_00060=on&cb_00065=on&cb_00065=on&format=gif_default&site_no=01074520&period=90
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Even though you can avoid all the mud and water, your boots will be wet by the end just from continuous small splashes.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few. Good hike for dogs - not too steep.
Bugs
Bugs: Virtually none.

Comments
Comments: The Rocky Branch Tr to Isolation Tr bushwhack is a great time and stream crossing saver. It is marked with occasional ribbons on trees, but is still easy to lose. Definitely have a GPS and something like Alltrails or you are almost certain to lose the trail.

Views on the trail are mostly non-existent, but are spectacular and 360 at the top in good weather. We summited just as the rain started and clouds were settling in.
