Parking/Access Road Notes: Though the forest website states Long Pond Road is closed, it was open up to the trailhead. Parking for several cars. I arrived at 9AM and only one car present, though possibly due to rainy forecast.

Comments: Forecast was a bit better than actuality. Rainy, of course, just as we hit the open slabs. Not too bad, a bit slippery in a few places, but do-able. A few spots of mud on the trail, but well-placed rocks and branches make it navigable.
Came across two mountain bikers, which were the only people we saw.
