Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a white hat that says Huk on it on Sphinx trail, brought it down to the parking lot. Almost lost my spare swim shorts in the caves, but I climbed back down the ladders 100 feet to retrieve them.

Comments
Comments: The first few miles of Great Gulf are easy and joggable. Beautiful swimming holes close by the whole way and the crossings were easy for me. Several established free campsites a few miles in, some with bear boxes. I stopped and talked with some friendly folks camping, I see they posted detailed reports on here as well. I won’t go into great detail, but the Six Husbands trail is very beautiful and difficult, slow going with caves and ladders. The alpine scrub is overgrown, luckily it was dry for me. Sphinx trail is basically a stream, slow going on greasy wet rock, but had some pretty cascades. I’m not sure if I would do these trails again, but I still have more exploring to do in the Great Gulf.
