Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All, were easy.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Maybe ~6 blow downs across trails. All were easy to step over or duck under. One part way down Carter dome trail from trail junction is a bit high with lots of sharp stick ends. Much further down on 19mb a big birth branches and all is across trail. But easy to get over/thru
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw both large and very small dog out. Decent trail, but the ridge has some scrambles without easy ways around. My lab would struck in those spots. Nice and shady, but not much water to be had up high.
Bugs
Bugs: None. Even when I stopped in the bog to take some pics
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing

Comments
Comments: This route was a nice way to get all 3 carters, and the views of mt height. The cut off from the doge camp rd was a bit hard to find as it is not labeled, but it is right where map shows it to be and a very well worn trail. The trails are in great condition, quite dry with only a few easily avoidable mud spots. I went up Height first on way to Carter dome, then by passed it on way back. Mt height is a steep climb and some rough trail. Nothing hard, just a trail I would rather go up than down.
