Spotted a car at Caps Ridge at 7:15, several open spots and then started the hike at Great Gulf trailhead (many spots open) |

2 crossings over the Peabody River were rock hop-able |

Very tight travel through the spruce and fir near the top of Six Husbands - 'car wash' effect where you couldn't see what was underfoot |

Just the large swarming hornet like things at the summit which didn't sting, they would land and take off. |

Very interesting route, especially the Six Husbands portion with secure ladders, caves and puzzling ledges. |
