kinda vexing until we got to the ridge. Generally things flying in our ears and eyes. Not really sure DEET helped? |

a HUGE thank-you to the person who took out the eye/forehead-stabbing trunk across the summit "ramp" - aka that last climb to one of the summit bumps. I have been whacked multiple times by it and awesome it's gone!!!
Super-terrific local hike. Thank you everyone who made this trail what it is!!!! I love the remote-feeling of this hike and the wild character not too far from civilization!!!! About 2.8 miles RT from parking area. Around 700' elev gain. Happy Fourth of July!!!! Live Free or Die!!!!! |
