Comments
Comments: Well went out for an overnight to grab some peaks before my month of July of hiking is up. Heading up gale river was nice and quick even with our packs. I dropped my pack at the hut while my friend hung out and had some water. Someone is leaving sharpie or black marker written cube large rocks at the summit of this with the name and elevation profile (someone go use it as a stepping stop or something) Once I got back we made out way up to South Twin and a decent amount of people were at the summit. Always the muddy sections through here. We dropped packs again and hit North Twin and saw the awesome crew of kiddos and moms having a blast. We headed back to South Twin through the gnat land and had some lunch. Heading over to guyot felt like it took forever but it was less buggy in there so that was a nice relief. We went and did an out and back to Zealand and sadly found the other cubed rock (like c'mon there is a sign with the name on it!!). When we got back to guyot... wow black flies just wow. We made it down to the campsites and there was still a platform open and only 4 were in the shelter which was shocking. We had platform number 9 but did get 2 more tents with us by the end of the night. A lot of people were rolling in after dinnertime. Once we ate, we went up to West Bond for sunset. Nice day out.
