We got up for sunrise, so up for 3ish as summer means early sunrises and colors were early! Around 3:30 is when colors started in the deep sky for our 5:08 sunrise. We were up on Bond for about 4:30 and sat down with our sleeping bags for the show. The sliver a moon was still out and it was a show for sure! Not as many clouds out for the sun to dance on though. We headed over to bondcliff when our other friend joined us. She came in at 1am and had a moos crashing around the boggy area of zealand hut! We made it to the summit of bondcliff and I know it was shocking that there was no one else there for our stay. We then headed down the long 9 miles and were shocked to not run into more people coming up. We ran into Gandolf and didn't get too muddy on our way out. I think this was the most bikes on lincoln woods though over the years. The black flies were only on the summit of bondcliff too. |
