| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of parking at Great Gulf lot. Maybe 25 cars there, many were just there to swim in the river I think. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Some slippery rocks where the stream is the trail on Huntington RT and the upper half of Great Gulf. Water levels were low, no wet feet with waterproof boots. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A couple blowdowns in need of an axe on upper Great Gulf. Perhaps some stream diversion up there too. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
| Bugs: |
Cleared the cobwebs at 4:30 am on the AT and Raymond path and suffered one spider bite, some after-bite helped. Gnats came out at 11:00 am on my way out, non-biting but obnoxious. |

| Comments: |
Camped along Great Gulf trail and got an early start for my loop up Huntington and down Great Gulf. I just beat the train to the summit, it was amazingly quiet up there at 8:45 with no wind and no cars, just a few other hikers along the way. No rain except a couple sprinkles. |
