Only two other cars at 7:15 at the ski area parking. A couple dozen were there when I returned around 11:30. |

Awesome day on the mountain. A little warm & muggy, but the clouds cleared out & provided amazing views. Went up Mt. Tecumseh Trail from the ski area parking to the summit. Hung around on top for a snack & water while enjoying the views, then took Sosman Trail down to the ski trails. They were okay at the very top with some wildflowers adding color here & there, but quickly became overgrown & had intermittent patches of poison ivy. I traversed (carefully) over to the gravel service road & followed the quad burner back to the base lodge. Saw about a half-dozen or so people on the trail all enjoying a great July hike! |
