Comments
Comments: Well, I went up to try to grab a quick day before the heat starts. I ended up starting around 812 in the morning and there was already six cars there. Made some good time unfortunately deer flies probably drove me up wall and the heat had already said. I saw some moose prints was nice to see, but that was pretty low into the hike. Walking along the river left a slight breeze but still humid like I was melting which was oh so fun. There were some logs that needed to go over that clearly have not been cleared in some years some mud sections that people are starting to go around, which are making the trail wider, unfortunately. I do not have any pass me on the way down and went right by the cabin where I saw a dog and some people and I continued onto the summit. I had my Cabot cheese at the peak, came back down and admired the water sign for the spring. Then went down into the cabin. Had some lunch continued down and before I left the River area decided to pack out 2 L of fresh cold water for the ride home. I saw three dogs in 14 people out. What a hot hot day as it was 83 when I got to the car.
