Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The one crossing of Carrigain Brook has been reshaped once again, likely by the December storm. easy rock hop at low water, likely difficult at high water. A couple very large trees, carried into place by the brook block the easiest crossing, but can be climbed over.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: a couple of easy duck unders on Signal Ridge. Two easy duck unders just north of Carrigain Notch. The perennial muddy spot on Signal Ridge trail has had some drainage work done, and is definitely better. Still some work to do, but it has improved.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: great hike for Fido. But please keep them under control and in sight. I was charged by one before its people even knew I was there.
Bugs
Bugs: Plenty of very healthy mosquitos and black flies. Deer flies made an appearance as well. DEET and/or a head net is your friend out here.

Comments
Comments: First trip for trail work on my adopted section due to the extra mileage. Stillwater Jct. to Nancy Pond tr does still need a light brushing, but otherwise in good shape.
