Water Crossing Notes: Few small streams to cross
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple of small, down trees on the trail. One massive tree down on the trail on one part of the Davis Path section between Crawford Spur and Mount Parker Trail. It's past the ledge outlook heading north towards the Mount Parker trail. Previous hikers created a small path to walk around it.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Hiked with my two Australian Cattle Dogs and they loved it. There is a very small chimney heading up to Stairs on the Davis path before the intersection of Davis Path and Stairs Mountain Spur. I had to lift both pup on the way up. Heading down, I lifted one while the other was able to get down herself.
Bugs
Bugs: they were around but nothing too annoying.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Purple bandana was left up near the summit of Stairs. Someone also lost their banana peel on the summit ledge. smh.

Comments
Comments: Long 10 miles. The first part of the trail going through the private property has been re-routed since we last hiked this trail a year ago. It avoids the swamp. The hike up to the Crawford Spur kicked our butts but once past that, the next 1.5 miles is a breeze. Headed up to Stairs was equally as steep and the trek up to Resolution was bit more forgiving. We did not summit Crawford because we have already crossed it off the 52 WAV list. I guess I didn't realize there were all in the same area. Decided to hike to Stairs first which offers a small summit on a tall, steep cliff so be careful with kids and pets. Resolution has several large ledges which bring fantastic views.
