Great day with distant views. I went along High Ridge Trail until I hit my turnaround time at the outlook. Lots of people mid-day. Winter wonderland with ice-covered everything. Looked like glass - glare ice everywhere. I used micros until mid-day and switched over to snowshoes to stop sinking in the crust. I slipped a couple times on the ledges even with the spikes on. |
